LOVE CITY MANAYUNK WEDNESDAYS

We partnered up with Love City Manayunk to throw a series of community focused events every Wednesday.

Here’s what we’ve got going on

First Wednesday of the month

Live Band Karaoke with Second Nature (6:30 - 10pm)

  • Ever dream of being the frontperson in a band? Here’s your chance.

  • It’s exactly like regular karaoke except instead of the speakers playing a song, its a full band!

  • Submit your pick, wait your turn, then hop up on the mic and belt it!

  • $5 at door to attend, sing as many songs as you’d like (free on 9/3 for the series kickoff)

Second Wednesday of the month

Locals Only Night (7 - 10pm)

  • Manayunk has a huge community of incredible performers, come find out for yourself.

  • The goal of the event is to try to create opportunities, a home and a hang out, for the artists and performers of Manayunk and the surrounding areas. Meet your neighbors, check out their music, and support your community.

  • Each event will be a showcase of musicians that live in Manayunk (at least one member of the band) or the surrounding neighborhoods.

  • The line up is chosen monthly by a member of 4333 that lives in the area that will be at every show.

  • If you’re a performer/band from the area (Manayunk, East Falls, Roxborough, Germantown, Mt. Airy) and would like to be considered for a future Locals Only Night, sign-ups for consideration are only available in person the night of the event.

  • First show ever? Flash in the pan bedroom pop project with your situationship? 74 year old lady and 4 spiders playing a Theremin? As long at one of your members lives in the area, this stage is for you.

  • $5 - $10 suggested donations (NTAFLOF) everything goes to artists after expenses.

Third Wednesday of the month

Tilted Bizarre (6 - 9pm)

  • A curated local vendor market hosted by Tilted Zine.

  • Come peruse the wares of some local vendors while the folks at Tilted spin their favorite vinyl.

  • Probably the cutest and coolest (and cheapest) date night you’ll ever find on a Wednesday.

Fourth Wednesday of the month

Friends of Jerry and Friends (7 - 10pm) (Starts in October)

  • Friends of Jerry and friends take the stage monthly for a psychedelic odyssey, presenting an improv jam session rooted in the Grateful Dead catalogue you know and love.

  • Each month they’ll bring out a curated line up of different folks to hop on stage to jam with them throughout the evening.

  • if you wanna be added to the list to potentially hop in the jam yourself, the only way to be considered for a future event is to sign up at the gig.
